Bissan Edwan is a Palestinian journalist, writer, publisher, and activist with more than 25 years of experience. She holds a BA from the Department of History and Civilisation at Cairo’s Al-Azhar University and is the founder of the independent publishing house Ibn Roshd. Her work is rooted in the themes of exile, identity, resistance, and the human condition, often seen through the lens of Palestinian history and struggle. Exploring the complexities of displacement and the emotional resonance of diaspora, her work reflects the individual and collective experiences of those forced to leave their homelands.
