Josephine Taylor

Dr Josephine Taylor recently completed her PhD in comparative literature and culture at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her research focused on the field of Petrocultures, a field which focuses on how crude oil and energy extraction has shaped the social and cultural imaginary of the 21st century. She teaches in philosophy, politics and comparative literature and Royal Holloway. She is also a member of the beyond gender collective, and has published on science fiction, extraction, and petrocultures.
