Tove Samzelius

Tove Samzelius is a senior lecturer in social work at Malmö University with an interest in questions related to gender, migration, single parenthood, poverty, and housing. Tove’s research interest stems from her long-term engagement and employment with a British grassroots single-parent organization where she was responsible for community services and participatory research involving single parents affected by poverty-related issues and welfare reforms. Her PhD dissertation “A vicious circle of silent exclusion: Family homelessness and poverty in Sweden from a single-perspective”, published in 2020, is available to read online.
