Witnessing the brutal crackdown on their peers in what began as a peaceful movement, private university students joined the July Uprising in solidarity—driven by fear and determination. They stood to gain nothing, yet played a vital role in the mass movement that ultimately overthrew the authoritarian government in 2024.
