Shuddhashar (শুদ্ধস্বর/ Pure Voice or True Voice/ Ren Stemme) is a platform that survived the onslaught of radical Islamist groups in Bangladesh. From exile, we are are continuing our work and striving to increase the appreciation of cultural diversity and to support at-risk writers, artists, and activists worldwide.
Shuddhashar is a non-profit organisation run by, among others, writers in exile. We publish work at the intersection of politics, free speech, activism, and literature. We provide a platform to those who have written in pursuit of truth; who may have stumbled along the path towards knowledge; who risked their lives for greater understanding and for justice; who insist on the right to question, express, and challenge; who are driven to exile, where they in fear or safety, in hiding or in waiting.

To continue our work, we need your support! Your financial patronage will help us cover the administrative costs of running our platform, publish content from many more persecuted and marginalised authors and activists, produce podcasts where they can share their own stories, and compensate all the contributors to our platform for sharing their valuable work. Authors whose voices are muzzled, especially those who live in exile, often find themselves in a financially precarious situation.
