Youth Journal
The Shuddhashar FreeVoice Youth Journal is a space primarily dedicated to young intellectuals from the Global South who have participated in the Avijit-Ananta mentorship programme. The programme is designed to develop participants’ knowledge and use of academic research. Participants learn to identify and evaluate reliable sources of information and develop and write good arguments. By the end of the programme, participants are expected to produce a scholarly essay (in English) that critically examines and analyses a research problem in their field of interest. This journal publishes the best academic essays produced through the mentorship programme. We hope the knowledge and ideas that are to be found in the essays by these young intellectuals will shape not only the future of the communities they represent but also of the wider world.
Undergraduate and graduate students from anywhere in the world can also contribute to this section. For submission instructions, please consult the submission guidelines for Essay articles above.
